Double Function is a small, UK-based remote team led by Steve Lee, and put together specifically to create this project. We’re passionate about games as a unique way to tell stories, and immerse players in rich worlds that have something to say.

We applied to the Starter fund to support bringing on new contractors, and help us through the rest of pre-production. This is our first project, that we’re having to get off the ground as economically as possible, and being selected for the starter fund is a huge help in allowing us to do that with more resources and confidence.
Even just the process of preparing the materials for the application ended up being really useful for us – encouraging us to think bigger, plan out our project schedule and budget in much more detail, and providing a much clearer, more viable and exciting path to more funding further down the line.
