Hollowbrook – Deputy
We’re Yetiface Games, a small indie studio based in North Wales.
We are a husband-and-wife duo, and we’ve been making video games for a long time through personal projects and taking part in game jams. With the successful release of our episodic horror game, Hollowbrook Apartments, we are really excited to be working with the Starter Fund to create the second episode in the series.
While our shared passion is creating immersive and enjoyable games, we also love encouraging the next generation of developers too. This exciting opportunity will allow us to work with other creatives and give them the space to share their own creative abilities, whilst also gaining a fresh perspective on our episodic series.

As a small studio the support is going to be a massive game changer for us. We applied for this grant to build on our existing IP, but to also grow the company, and now we have the improved means to deliver a great experience to our fans.
We’re looking forward to reaching out and working with talented individuals on current and future projects and giving back to the game development communities that helped grow and guide us this last year.
Like many others, Yetiface Games started as a small studio, just a couple of friends having fun and making the kinds of games we wanted to play ourselves.
Now, our dream of bringing other creative minds in to the studio is one step closer to reach.
