The Locksmith
Tapocketa is a small animation studio based in Hertford, with roots in the west country and wider team members based in Devon.
Our collective backgrounds include VFX for feature films, prop-making for TV and film, animation, fine art, voice-over work and web development.
Together we love to explore and push the boundaries of storytelling, devising new ways to interact with stories and developing our own IP projects.

We hope the Starter Fund will be our ‘stepping stone’ into the games industry. Developing The Locksmith project with the Starter Fund will help our team and studio gain an understanding of the games business world and start to build a network that will enable us to go for the Prototype Fund and beyond.
Being on the first Starter Fund cohort will greatly enhance our capabilities and offering as a studio for multiple future projects.
